This double DVD features "The Nature of the Individual," a groundbreaking teaching that Khyentse Yeshe gave on November 4-6, 2011 at Tibet House, US, a cultural center in New York City founded -- at the request of His Holiness the Dalai Lama -- to ensure the survival of Tibetan Civilization and Culture. Over a period of three days, Khyentse Yeshe, in his direct, often humorous, and always profound manner, fleshes out for his audience the path to discovering one's true nature. Drawing on the thought of philosophers such as P.T. Raju, as well as on the wisdom of the Dzogchen teachers of his lineage, Khyentse Yeshe's words provide refreshingly accessible truth and inspiration for daily life, for all those people, Buddhist practitioners and lay listeners, who want to get to the heart of their own selves, that of others and of the reality and the world we live in and share.

Khyentse Yeshe (Yeshi Silvano Namkhai), son and student of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu, was born in Italy in 1970, and at a very young age was recognized by His Holiness Sakya Trinzin as the reincarnation of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu's maternal uncle, Khyentse Rinpoche Chokyi Wangchug. While in college, Khyentse Yeshe studied philosophy and computer science, and after graduation, he successfully worked in the field of modern technologies for an extended period of time. In 2007 he traveled to Tibet and accepted his duty to help and support his previous incarnation's monastery in Central Tibet. That trip marked a shift in his practice and teaching life, and over the past few years, Khyentse Yeshe has increasingly, and tirelessly, focused his energy to ensure and promote the future of the Dzogchen Community founded by Chogyal Namkhai Norbu, following his teacher's instructions and fulfilling students' wishes.
